Short Biography
I am fascinated by how microorganisms shape our world and influence human mental and physical health, and I am particularly interested in translating this knowledge into innovative biomedical applications. My current research focuses on developing nanoscale capsules derived from yeast cell walls to enable targeted delivery of probiotics to the gut.
Outside the lab, I enjoy playing soccer, billiards, and chess. Working with microorganisms also means accepting occasional surprises—such as cultures that grow more mold than intended.
