Short Biography

Komal Dhull holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Chandigarh University, India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Before starting her PhD, she worked as a Scientific Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, specializing in structural biology, protein biochemistry, and X-ray crystallography. Her current PhD research at the Medical University of Graz focuses on enhancing yeast-based systems for sustainable bioproduction within the project „Rejuvenation yeasts for better biorefineries.“
