Short Biography

I hold an MSc in Pharmacy from Goce Delchev University in Štip, North Macedonia. After completing my studies, I worked for one year as a teaching assistant, preparing and delivering both practical and theoretical lectures for undergraduate students. I subsequently began my doctoral studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. My PhD research, conducted at the Jožef Stefan Institute, focused on the genetic engineering of vaginal Lactobacillus strains and their incorporation into electrospun nanofibers as a potential delivery system against vaginal infections. In 2025, as an Ernst Mach Postdoctoral Scholar, I joined the NanoLab, where I am currently developing magnetic nanomaterials for the targeted delivery of vaginal probiotics.
