Short Biography

I hold a BSc in Molecular Biology and an MSc in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Graz, Austria. During my master’s studies, I investigated the regulation of chemotaxis and its role in the pathogenicity of Vibrio cholerae. Alongside my research, I worked as a teaching and research assistant, supporting microbiology students in laboratory courses and helping them develop practical and analytical skills. I have also gained industry experience as a Laboratory Assistant at imaH GmbH and through an internship at Fresenius Kabi Austria GmbH. I am currently working as a Research Technician at NanoLab Graz.

Research Interests

  • Molecular cloning, protein expression, and purification techniques
  • Developing, optimizing, and validating novel laboratory methods
  • Gene regulation and its role in pathogenic bacteria
